PLANS & LAYOUTS

Casa Khnum’s design blends architecture and landscape to create harmony between open air, light, and silence. Every level of the house was conceived to honor the natural slope of the land and the rhythm of the Pacific, allowing every space to feel private yet connected an oasis that breathes with the coast of Puerto Escondido.
Ground Floor
The ground floor welcomes guests with a serene composition of gardens and open living areas. A spacious living room flows naturally into the dining area and kitchen, creating a fluid social core surrounded by greenery. Three guest bedrooms open directly to the garden, each with its own private bathroom, while large glass panels invite the ocean breeze and natural light inside. Every corner was designed to feel intimate yet open a sanctuary of simplicity.
First Floor
The first floor is the heart of retreat and rest. Three master suites overlook the lush surroundings, offering private terraces and panoramic views of the Pacific horizon. An open corridor connects these rooms with quiet lounges and work areas, ideal for reflection, reading, or creative flow. Natural textures, warm wood tones, and the whisper of wind through the lattice walls make this level the most peaceful part of the home a space meant to restore balance.
Rooftop & Terrace
The rooftop celebrates the essence of Casa Khnum: open sky, fire, and connection. A handcrafted bar and lounge area invite intimate gatherings under the stars, framed by the endless horizon of the Pacific. This terrace is where sunsets turn into ritual where time slows and the sea becomes part of the conversation. Built with organic materials and soft lighting, the rooftop embodies the spirit of Oaxacan nights: warm, sacred, and timeless.
From the foundations to the highest terrace, Casa Khnum was conceived not only as a structure, but as an experience. It’s a home shaped by light and crafted with purpose designed to evolve, breathe, and welcome those who seek something beyond ordinary living.
